Buildings (edit)

Barracks is where it all begins for most soldiers. All types of troops are trained here. Constructing or upgrading barracks increases the number of soldiers produced (max training quantity). Training troops will consume unsafe resources first.

This is actually four separate buildings:

  • Bowmen barracks
  • Cavalry barracks (require castle level 3)
  • Infantry barracks
  • Spearmen barracks (require castle level 5)

The training quantity is equal to 10 per barracks level, up to a maximum to 300 at barracks level 30.

Unlocking troop levels[edit | edit source]

Additionally every 5 levels, you unlock a new tier of troops:

Troop tier Barracks level Note

Upgrading troops[edit | edit source]

In addition to training new troops, barracks also allow you to upgrade lower-tier troops.

  • Troops must be present in the city to be eligible for an upgrade.
  • Upgrading troops is not subject to the training quantity limit, you can upgrade hundreds of thousands of troops at once. Of course, this might leave you without units until the upgrade is over.
  • Upgrade counts for the train soldiers objective at daily commission and many other events.

Training special troops[edit | edit source]

  • Troops must be present in the city to be eligible for special training.
  • Special training requires one of the four special ingredients (weapons) for the upgrade. The weapons can be forged at the Forge tab of your Blacksmith, or you can purchase them for gold dragons.
  • If the special troop dies, the weapon is lost.
