Castle (great city)
Westeros contains several great cities, such as King's Landing or Winterfell. Castles are ranked from 2-stars to 6-stars. The higher the Star Level, the stronger the Castle. Occupying high-level Castles provide greater gains.
Houses can increase their Star Level after occupying Castles with Star Levels. Houses with a higher Star Level can rule more Bannermen and become stronger.
When a Castle is occupied, all territories it owns will come under the rule of the winning House, whose name will be shown in the territories to other players.
To occupy castles, you must participate in Castle Battles, and defeat other factions who cast their greedy eyes on the cities and finally be crowned king. Participating in such battles breaks truce.
Castle Battles have a total of three stages: protection period, dispute period and handling period.
Protection Period[edit | edit source]
During the Protection Period, castles have a Durability and are owned by the previous occupier, the attacker needs to command its troops to attack the castle to reduces its Durability, the defender needs to take back the control of the castle by repairing its Durability continuously.
Dispute Period[edit | edit source]
When Castle Durability reaches 0, the castle is destroyed, the castle has no owner during this period and a dispute countdown of 15 minutes will be activated when someone occupies it, the countdown will be refreshed if the castle is occupied by another House.
Handling Period[edit | edit source]
When the occupying House occupies the castle for more than 15 minutes consecutively, the battle is over and the castle enters the Handling Period. A Truce is activated and the castle cannot be attacked.
Victory[edit | edit source]
The House who wins the Castle Battle can decide how to handle the castle, these include: seizing it, returning it or abandoning it. Once the handling is complete, the castle will return to the protection period with its durability fully restored.
NPC house in action[edit | edit source]
Every castle has its own original defending house (e.g., Winterfell is defended by House Stark). The defending house will do whatever it takes to take back its homeland in battles, stay alert.
